At 7:40 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to Sovereign and Sunset avenues for a shooting. Officers found evidence of gunfire but no victim.
Moments later, a male victim entered the emergency room at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. The injury was not considered life-threatening.
